OUR OUTREACH

Portland street-level care

Reach our team for questions, volunteer info, or donation inquiries. We're based in Portland and we actually hit the pavement.

ON THE STREETS

One day, one neighborhood, one real connection

We head out every Tuesday and Thursday into Portland neighborhoods. These photos show the faces, the moments, and the small acts of care that make up a single outreach shift.

FROM THE STREET

Does outreach actually change anything?

We collect honest feedback from the folks we meet in Portland. Here is what they tell us about the difference it makes when someone shows up.

I have been on these streets for two years. Most people walk past like I am a ghost. But the folks from this outreach, they looked me in the eye. Handed me a warm meal and a pair of socks like I mattered. That changes something in you.

I was parked near the underpass when they pulled up. They did not hand me a brochure and leave. They sat down on the curb next to me and asked what I needed. That respect, that patience, that is real care.

I was freezing one night last December. Did not think anyone was coming. Then a van pulled up, someone in a red vest got out, handed me a heavy blanket and a hot drink. Did not ask for anything. Just helped. That act of kindness is why I am still here.
